Research

Since I was as a child at school I have been
looking for a solution for dyslexia. First, I found
explanations studying Linguistics, and later I started
doing research to build solutions while doing a master
in Natural Language Processing and a PhD in Human Computer Interaction receiving some awards such as the European Young Researchers' Award, Innovator under 35 TR35 MIT’s Technology Review Spain or Princess of Girona Award for Social Good. Currently at CMU we are working on identifying dyslexia using games at large scale.

I am founder of the social enterprise Change Dyslexia, is a social company and its goal is reduce school failure due to dyslexia by overcoming the *3 barriers* of dyslexia: (1) Dyslexia is unknown and under-diagnose; (2) difficulties in reading and writing, and (3) Socio-economic barriers.

To accomplish this goal we have developed Dytective Test (free online screening, scientifically validated), DytectiveU (support tool for dyslexia) and offer scholarships so no child is left behind.
